Control Throws for Sig Skybolt
Does anyone have a manual for the sig skybolt? If so could you let me know what the control throws are supposed to be (high rate and low rate)? I have one that I aquired through a club member but he didn't have plans or a manual for it. It has ailerons only on the bottom wing (I assume the manual distinguishes between 2 aileron and 4 aileron when discussing the throws).
If anyone has this information and can provide it I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance! |
RE: Control Throws for Sig Skybolt
The manual says elevator and ailerons have 7/8" down and 1" up with rudder 1" each way. The manual was printed pre-programable radio so there is no info on dual rates. The rudder travel will be limited by the elevator cutout. The other surfaces can be set at high rate using the TLAR* method.
*That looks about right. |
RE: Control Throws for Sig Skybolt
Kwigen,
Thanks for the reply! Now I can finish setting up my servos. After posting this, I did call Sig to see if they had any manuals/plans left. To my surprise, they did! So I ordered up one of each (manual and plans). So now I should be all set, especially if I break something or want to build another one!
