I just finished building the fuse on an extra 300 from greatplanes, and it seemed like the CA wasnt driying very fast. so i looked at the bottle and the SOB was foam safe CA, i swear it was in the same kind of bottle as normal CA. will it bond ok to the balsa or am i going to have to re build it????[:@]

RE: did i screw up big time????
It'll work ok. I'd wick some thin ca around as much as you can to be on the safe side

RE: did i screw up big time????
Foam Safe C/A is just C/A without the odor. Lots of guys with C/A alergies use it because of less fumes. It does tend to take a bit longer to set, but a little kicker will help. It also cost about twice as much as regular C/A

Your plane is ruined.
Just kidding. Let glue dry and it be fine. |

RE: did i screw up big time????
CA dosen't dry, it catalizes due to trace moisture in the surface to be glued but foam safe needs a little help in that process. As Terry said, use a little kicker and you'll be fine.;)
