Right Kit for Me

I am currently learning to fly, but would also like to try to build a kit. What do you people think would be a good, electric kit? I don't want anything too fancy, and just want something that isn't too hard to build. Any suggestions?

RE: Right Kit for Me

Great Planes kits have always been pretty simple to build (in my opinion). Their instructions are clear and detailed enough for a first timer. I checked out the TowerHobbies electric kits section and saw a little Ryan STA that looks pretty neat. The low wing could be a nice step for someone who is learning/just learned to fly. Keep in mind that the smaller the model the harder it is to control. A 5 mph breeze is nothing to a full sized Ryan STA and very little to a 1/4 scale Ryan, but to the little Ryan kit that tower sells that 5mph breeze is like a 70mph gale!
