SIG LT-40 question

Would like to know if the Sig LT-40 "KIT" (not ARF) uses ailerons. I have read the info on this plane, but cannot tell if this is an aircraft that does or does not have ailerons. I'm sure there is someone out there in RC UNIVERSE that has built this kit.

RE: SIG LT-40 question

Here's the build thread that I did on a LT-40, if you have any other questions on the LT-40 kit.

[link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_3439708/tm.htm]Pay It Forward build thread!! LT-40 build.[/link]

But the answer to your question is yes, the LT-40 has ailerons.

Hope this helps

Ken

RE: SIG LT-40 question

I just built an LT-40 kit for sale, and it does have ailerons. It's also a very easy build. I built this one without any instructions. I've been building kits over 25 years, so I did have an advantage. Once I matched the parts up with the plans it built easily.

Good luck on yours!

RE: SIG LT-40 question

I’m getting back into the hobby after a 35 year lay-off, & I built a LT-40 kit, yes it does have ailerons, great plane, it just floats about nice & easy. I have a OS 40LA, which I think is a little bit under powered for this plane (I build heavy) turning a 10x6 prop, if I did it over I would go with a .46 engine just to have a little more punch on those days that are a bit windy, don’t get me wrong this plane is a great slow flying plane, great for learning on & a relaxing fly
