Byron Kit

Hi. I just purchased a Byron Husky kit and have a couple of questions. First of all, it states to tack the formers in the fuselage and then fiberglass them. What glue would you recommend to glue the wood formers to the fiberglass fuselage? The second question, do you cover the fuselage or do you paint it? If you recommend to paint it, do you plank the tail and fiberglass it, so that it looks the same as the rest? If you cover it, will the fabric stick to the fiberglass or do you have to put something on the fiberglass fuselage to get it to stick? I am going to cover the wings with white fabric. I have never done anything with a fiberglass fuselage, so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

RE: Byron Kit

I would use polyurethane glue for wood to fibergalss bonding. many will suggest epoxy, but I find that gets brittle with time. Poly glue will retain it's flexibility and strength over time. Painting the fiberglass fuse is usually what is done. I have no experience with fabric.
