Thanks for the encouragement you’ve succeeded in at talking me into it👍 I’m not going to promise a full blown build documentation but will post progress when started. Career still has me very busy😒 With the info from here I feel like I know everything about what to expect during the build and flying it when done. Thanks again to all who posted for thorough directions!😉

I know I'm late to the game but, glad to finally see photos of a 4stroke install. I'm putting an OS 70FS Surpass in my mini. I'm somewhat concerned with the appearance of how it will stick out. Your install is clean, looks good. After seeing it, I think I will slant my OS 70FS so the head is under the cheek of the cowl and the muffler will be directly under the fuse. Here's a photo of build so far.

Looks great! Glad to see another Smith in progress. Just remember to give the engine plenty of cooling airflow! 😊
