flattening plans

Hi:
I have an older Carl Goldberg Chipmunk (63" WS) kit I'm ready to dig into. I got the kit from a fellow club member about 2 years ago. Upon opening the box the plans are folded not rolled (I've always dealt with rolled plans). What is the best way to flatten them out?
One of the plans for the wing half was folded about ten times.
Can I dampen them and iron them or dampen and hang?

happy flying

I've steam-ironed plans with no problems, no need to hang them with steam. Just like ironing your folding money after falling into the water.

Just go over them with your covering iron as you pin the plan on the building board

Thanks guys:
I employed the wife's ironning skills and she did a great job of making them workablewith a steam iron. Let's hope the nextt thing she irons doesn't have wing plans on it. LOL

Happy Flying
