Hi.
Anyone has this plane from Aviomodelli? Is it a good kit? Will it take so much time to built as the Top-flite Bonanza?
Any cons and pros with using a Saito 91 to power the Arrow 2?

Thanks.

I have the kit still in the box. I removed everything for inspection and it looked great.

I don't know if a .91 would have enough power.

I'm still building this kit. I think it is great.
You will get a very complete kit with laser cut plywood parts, foam wings (very fine!) and a lot of accessories like wheels, tank, links and much more. The kit includes also some decals, I through them, extremely ugly.
If you don't change anything (I'm building a scale cockpit and retracts -> time consuming) it should be ready in a few weeks.
How it flies? I've heard that it is a gently flyer but you need the flaps for landing. Now own experience now.
The Saito 91 should have enough power (recommendation .91 -1.20).
Good luck!

Hi.
Thanks a lot for the replies. This forum is fantastic!
How many servos are necessary to build this one with flaps also, and can they be standart futaba S-3003 servos?
Those seats that we see in the picture of the plane in the box are supplied with the kit?
If I just build it standart what should be the final weight ready to fly using a Saito 91?

Thanks again
Daniel Maia

You need 6 servos. 2 for the ailerons, one for the engine, flaps rudder (pull-pull is included!) and aileron.
If you use standard servos you can use the laser cut servo bridge!
The weight will be about 5500 grams, i guess.

Thanks for the reply, Peter.
Will you glass the fuselage as I saw in the link that Dan P. told me? That should raise the weight a little bit, shouldnīt it?
Can I paint just the wings and tail and cover the fuse with monokote or some other to save some weight?
Another thing I would like to ask you is do you have some construction pics that can send me, please?

You all can see my job with a Top-Flite Cessna at:

Unfortunately the is not a English version but he says that it is a very good kit but the hardware is not very good.

Sorry for the late reply.
About the covering: I will not glass the fuselage only sand and fill and cover with monocote. I'm not afraid about the weight but i'm not so good with painting;)
You can see a few pictures on our club site (sorry in swedish only). A lot of work to do...
