I'm working on my second kit but I'm heavily addicted. I want to make a desk sized profile that can live at my office. Would I jus take the plans to Kinkos and have them reduce them?

That can be done, although if you are just looking for a in-expensive way of doing this. Download Turbocad Learning Edition from turbocad.com and then download some of the many dxf files that are floating around here and then you can print the plan to any size that you like. I do this so I can sketch out covering designs, but I like your idea!

PS the more I think about it, the more I think that would be a fun little project to do! Especially since I have tons of covering lying around!

You can also just tinker by hand w/o the expense and delay of learning a new cad approach. Just get a three-view of what you want, blow up to the size you want and start pencilling in piece locations. If you've built a kit, you already know the general location and structure of components.
What is a desk sized profile? Is it like the DJ Aerotech Roadkill electrics? Check them out:

Good luck,

I'm thinking a profile plane like the Gee Whiz Bee I'm making that is the size of my hand or a little bigger. You can see lots of profiles here:
