I'm new to this hobby and I'm hooked after completing my first kit. Designed by Pat Trittle the ubiquitous Piper J-3 Cub. I'll add the engine detail after seeing how she flies without it.

Its addicting isnt it? I have always liked building, and recently tried an arf to put some gear i had from a crash into and get flying quickly.

I found that it doesnt do as much for me and i am gonna go back to building, its far more rewarding for me anyway.

I'm with you. Just finished my first and am half way done with my second. First time for covering. I'll sit at work and think...tonight I will build. I can't believe I've gone crazy over boxes of sticks!

Ahhhhhh, what you guys don't know is that there is a virus in the balsa wood and once it enters your body....you are HOOKED !!!

Man, it's crazy!! I am an Oakland Raiders fan and all during the game I was thinking about my next project (ok it wasn't hard since the raiders sucked in the Superbowl). I've taken on a much bigger challenge, the Palmer C130 87"ws. I have never flown an R/C plane but certainly am hooked on building them.

I just finished framing up the wings on my LT-40 today. It's my first plane/kit. The whole time I've been working on it, I was thinking about how much fun it was doing it! Luckily though, there is still the fuse to build! :D

It's like I've always said...

Getting there is half the fun!

And when you bring it out to the field, or you have company for dinner, etc. you can proudly say: "Yes, I built it!" :D :D :D
