Cub windscreen
I have purchased a Carl Goldberg Aniversary Cub kit 76'' wing, it seem like the windscreen has been changed from the vaccum formed, and has been replaced with a flat piece of plastic which does not go any where near to fitting, can i get some advise please

RE: Cub windscreen
Craig:
Well you can do it the "old way". Take the piece they gave you and draw it a bit bigger on a piece of light cardbaord (like a shirt box) and after cutting it out use the trial and fit method by trimming a bit each time till it fits right. Then transfer the template to clear plastic and cut it a tiny bit larger. This time as you fit it use a heat source CAREFULLY as you do so to assist with the curves, trim as necessary and use a RC56 type glue holding it in place with tape for about 24 hours. This will do it hope it helps. |

Thats how I'll be doing it on a 1/4 scale busa cub kit.

Sounds like good old Bubba (Lanier) has struck again. He will go to all ends to make the kits cheaper to produce. Obviously flat sheet plastic is cheaper than vacuum formed.
