cutting down a turtle deck
 

Am bashing a Corsair into a Reno Racer which has a straight turtle deck from in front of the fin to the back of the canopy across the backbone What to use to support the sheeting, as the formers can no longer be used or cut down. As I am still learning, what is the best method.
