Whats your preference?

Guys, I have two Extra's that I built from kits under my belt now. I completely built the fuselage including the vertical and horizontal stabs on both planes before I covered them. My question is, did I made it harder to cover the turtledeck with the vertical and horizontal stab on the plane or should I have covered the fuselage and then installed the tail section?

The GP Extra doesn't really give you the option of covering first.
