RE: TCraft engine size help

Who manufactures the kit? What is the wing span and the projected weight?
I have built and flown the "Live wire T-Craft" by Hal DeBolt. It flies great with a .45 engine.
I have another one in the box waiting to be built.

RE: TCraft engine size help

If this is the Great planes Tcraft, mine flys well on a Saito .30. I have put it on floats though so I am considering a Saito .40. I don't think you need any more than that, and the weight of a larger engine is not going to help.

Regards,

Dave

Any of the four strokes in the 50 range, depends on how you like to fly. The TC is A nice little stunt plane so I like A bit more power. Smaller engines will fly it OK.

RE: TCraft engine size help

Mine was powered with the OS 26 FS (4 stroke) and it was under powered and flew marginally. I think the OS 30 would be about right.
I wouldn't go much more than that however, it is a small airframe.
