I built one of those around 1978. Flew it twice then gave it to my roomate to settle up a $34 phone bill when I graduated college. Mine had an Enya engine too. I'll be darned if I can remember what it was called though! Sorry!

Looks like a Tri-Squire to me.

RE: identify this plane

Sorry Chad but I don't think it's a Tri Squire unless the one I have has been highly modified. The vert. stab on mine is more rounded and the horizontal stab is built up and covered. Also mine has no cowl on the nose. The eng. was hung out in the open and mine is also a tail dragger. I traded for mine about 6 months ago from an old timer so I'm going by what he told me. Said they were great trainers and had plenty of control with the small rudder and elevator surfaces. I was going to convert it to elec. power for the wife and kids but it hasn't happened yet. As for what the one to be identified is, I have no idea.

RE: identify this plane

Thats definately not a Tri-Squire, the horizontal stab on a Squire is built up this one is flat, It is most likely a Godberg kit of some sort, that or a MidWest Kit other than the Squire kits. I had a Tauri model by To Flite once but can not remember if the stab was flat or not, I do know the Vert Stab was more rounded in shape, Best I can do to help.
