Can someone please tell me what (if any) size I can sub a #51 drill for?

Thanks,

A number 51 drill is .0670 inch. The closest fraction drill is 1/16 which is .0625 or .0045 smaller.
The number (and then letter) size drills fall in between the fraction sizes. The larger the number, the smaller the drill.
A good hardware store should have number drills if you want to be precise, otherwise just use 1/16 and wiggle it a little.
