I bought a place at a swap meet that i think is a contender.What I need to know is what measurement to use to set the center of gravity

3-3/16" behind leading edge as measured with the plane upside down. The manual says it can be as much as 3/8" off ine either direction as your flying style dictates.

I'm in the process of building one - ready to cover at the moment.
