Moving thrust line

Can someone tell me what effect raising the thrust line of an engine will have? I mounted a 150 on an Ultimate Bipe, but the vibration was terrible. I am switching to a soft mount, but will need to move the engine line up or down a bit in order to locate the holes for the new mount.

Any help is appreciated.

Dan:

The amount you will move it wont make any noticeable difference.

If you moved it four or five inches, that's one thing. But 1/2 to 3/4 inches? Never notice it on a plane that size.

Thanks. I was thinking that was the case but was not sure. Moving it will also help the cowl line up. I located the engine on the thrust line exactly per plans, but when I put the cowl on it was angled slightly. This should fix 2 problems.
