Canopy glue??

Getting ready to trim the canopy for the Dazzler, and am wondering what will be the best glue, silicon, or what to secure it without looking like a wad of goobers?
What sticks best to monocoat and will keep the canopy snug?

Canopy glue??

ecajberry:

Canopy glue? No contest. RC 56, or Pacer's Formula 560.

Only thing I don't like is that it can't be used on a boat - it's not waterproof.

Bill.

Canopy glue??

I agree with Bill, just be sure to have the canopy vented so pressure does not build up while plane sets in the sun or it may pop off. I leave a small area not glued or drill a small hole into the fuselage.

I cut a small "V" in the application nozzle and lay the edge of the canopy in the "V"as I apply glue this results in a Small bead of glue on both sides of the canopy as well as the bottom edge and I have never lost a canopy.

Trim tape can be used to cover any thing less than a perfect application.

56 or 560 is the magic answer.
