Wing Incidence Question

I have a gp giles and when checking the wing to the stab the difference is 1/2 degree neg on both sides. From wing root to tip it is a little less than 1/4 degree neg. I am using the gp accupoint laser meter. My question is: is the 1/2 degree enough to try to correct. The plane will pull to canopy on downlines and trimmed for level flight at 1/2 thr, it will climb at full. Haven't been able to check thrust yet, need to fabricate a meter attachment for the 160. Never really payed much attention to this stuff before. Just want to make sure I'm barking up the right tree......Dave

Wing Incidence Question

If the model takes different amounts of elevator at different throttle settings, be sure to get a thrust measurement, and then adjust the thrust angle accordingly. Our stock settings are 2 deg right and 1 deg up when compared to the 0 stab.

Don't mistake the washout in the wing for a problem; this is intentional to minimize tip stalling at slow speeds.

Sincerely,
Mrs. AnnMarie Cross

Wing Incidence Question

Mrs. AnnMarie Cross, thanks for your response. I will check and adj the thrust line to the specs you gave me when I'm able to attach the meter. One question for you, are there any plans in the future for a Edge 540? From what i've seen and heard, this plane is becoming quite popular. Thanks again, Dave
