Great Planes RV-4 Wingtips

Is any one using the kit vac formed wing tips? Mine do not come very close to matching up with the contour of the wing tip. I am thinking of building mine out of balsa.

Wingtips

Mine came out right on the money - didn't use the fiberglass ones I bought! But did use the ABS for a template for the 'glass cowl :-)

Great Planes RV-4 Wingtips

Mine didn't come out either. I could have used them if I really wanted to but I prefered balsa wingtips because they are stronger. I hollowed out the inside a bit to save weight. The balsa wingtips are much better IMO
