Midwest AT-6 Flaps

Would like some advice on hooking up the set of three flaps on a Midwest AT-6. The kit did not include them and I want them but connecting the set of three is making me think about the best way to do it. Any advice? Thanks

redtail:

I think I would use a servo.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Probably the easiest would be a direct link from the servo to the center flap and a bellcrank arrangement to operate the two outboard.

You could use the Du-Bro #183 ball connector to link the outer ones, this link is made to attach two pushrods to the one ball socket, with one coming out opposite the other.

Hope this helps.

Bill.

OK Bill, I deserve that (servo). Great idea about connecting the outter flaps with the central flap with some sort of bellcrank system. Thanks.
