If it hasn't hardened up in the bottle, it will be OK.

Please Help!!!!!!!!
You can always test it on scrap wood. If the glue holds and the wood breaks you will be fine.
If in doubt, throw it out! Glue is the cheapest part of building a plane. tonyc |
Please Help!!!!!!!!
The 'thin' variety starts to get 'stringy' as it starts going bad. If it leaves a 'tail' when you pull away from the surface you are gluing, it going, going, going.....BAD. replace it!

turissa:
Test the epoxy on a scrap, when it goes bad it's obvious. THis IS NOT TRUE with CA. It can still be nicely liquid, but not make a good bond. Test it also, if the joint seems strong use it only in a location that is not critical, buy fresh for joints that need full strength. Bill. PS: You can store CA indefinitely in your refrigerator, but only in new, sealed bottles. Don't freeze it, and be sure to let it come up to room temperature before you open the bottle. wr. |
Please Help!!!!!!!!
If i was you, i wouldn't use the CA. CA's do go bad. Spend the money, get a new bottle and be sure about it.

I agree with buying new. Why risk a plane for $10 or $15 worth of glue?
Oh, and please turn of your Caps Lock. All capital letters is considered rude (like SHOUTING), and it's harder to read. Dennis- |
