su-do-khoi

Hi,
A friend just gave me a su-do-khoi kit, it's my first airplane that i'm going to build and I would like to have some tips.
Tips on building a kit.
Or maybe specific tips for the su-do-khoi.
Thanks a lot
David

RE: su-do-khoi

Hi David,

Which su-do-khoi? I have just finished the giant and although the instructions left a bit to be desired, the plans were first class as was the wood, in all it was a great build, albeit I have built many kits since I started in the 50's. Some knowledge is assumed and there are some areas where the individual decides how to finish.

If you have any problems please post and I'm sure you will have plenty of builders willing to assist. My suggestions are to make sure all your joints are tight and that you use white glue or aliphatic resin for most of the structure and all of the fuselage except where the bearers and ply need some slow set epoxy. Measure twice and cut once as they say in the classics.

Have fun and Good Luck,

Colin
