Canopy Cleaning

I have a canopy that I tacked on with covering to attach it to my plane. I now want to take it off and tint the canopy but I can't get some of the covering off, any ideas?

Only elbow grease. You might try some alcohol, but test an area first.

Most solvents that will remove the adhesive will also destroy the canopy.

yea I just had no idea it would stick so well to the canopy so I figured I could just tack it on there until I got the stuff to tint it and had time to do it all. I got it tinted though and it looks awesome. To attach it again I think I'm still going to use a strip of covering again.

Tinted canopies and the sun do not get along. when at the field and not flying this summer, keep your canopy covered

Hair dryer and denatured alcohol. If you have guts, lacquer thinner.
