Super Coverite - anyone know a source?
A friend of mine has been looking all over for the non-painted Super Coverite to no avail. Even Nelson Hobby has none of their covering material and he won't even order anymore in as he is afraid he will be stuck with it.
Surely there must be a place somewhere in the States that still has a supply. Balsa USA is even out. So anyone knows of a source, would appreciate hearing about it. |
RE: Super Coverite - anyone know a source?
A few montha ago I saw some unpainted fabric at Roy's Hobby Shop in Hurst TX
I do not remember which brand it was. The phone number is (817) 268-0210 |
RE: Super Coverite - anyone know a source?
It has not been made for 5 years because of epa reasons. I really like the stuff and now use Koverall, but BUSA has the Solartex which will work about the same.

I believe it is the Solartex that Balsa USA is out of.

"uncertified" dacron from Aircraft Spruce and Specialty, apply like Koverall but (IMHO) a much better product, tighter weave, wider, less expensive...

RE: Super Coverite - anyone know a source?
Yea, but looking for something that irons on rather than having to use dope to adhere to the structure.
