kit for .26 4 stroke

I have both a OS .26 and .30 4 stroke engine, last were in a Dynaflite Butterfly. Looking for new subjects for this size engine.
Suggestions welcome.

Thanks

I like the Sig LT 25, but you may prefer something a little more lively.

Stinger 10. I have a couple, looking forward to the same sort of option you are.

I also have a Clancy Big Bee that I"m hoping to get around to building soon, probably go with a 2stroke of the same displacement range.

Ace still offers their little Ultimate, I've heard they can handle anything from a .15 to a .40, you might try one.

Best wishes,
Dave Olson

How about a GP Taylorcraft ? I,m going to build one with a Magnum.30 and set it up for floats.

I have a LT-25 with a Saito .30 and it is a great combination. The LT-25 flies on the wing and the Saito has the torque to get it airborne but doesn't yank it around the sky so fast that one is constantly turning. Because it cruises at about 1/3 throttle, it is super quiet and sounds great.

If a trainer is not in the cards, consider bashing the LT-25 kit... do a search here, I've seen a couple of very sporty looking bashes of the LT-25. And... the LT-25 is laser cut with fit that is the best I've built and one of the quickest builds. Because it is all balsa it is light enough to really fly well and yield about the largest plane that one of the small four strokes would fly so well.

How about a NU B2 :D

You can get a ARC kit.

"NU B2" ARF, or RTC KIT,
Remember the New Bee?? The NU B2 is designed with today's technology, replicating a popular and proven sport plane. This plane has flown and performs unbelievably well. It is very acrobatic, but
predictably easy to handle, and just plain fun to fly !!
The NU B2 is cad designed, and the quality is well beyond what you would expect. Want to cover your own, try the RTC kit.
The ARF is designed to assemble with very little effort, and comes with all the necessary hardware, including a Nitro and Electric motor mount, decals , windshield, and ONE piece ABS cowling and wheel pants.

40" Wingspan, Electric or fuel powered. Fuse lenght= 29",Estimated wing load=16 -17 oz/sq.foot

Fuel engine size = .25 , 2 stroke, .30-.40 ,4 stoke, EP Motor, 300-350 Watts, 3S battery

I buillt the GP Taylorcraft and powered it with the OS26 4-stroke. It flew the plane, but IMO was a little under powered. It did better flying without the struts. If you're into very scale like flying, the .26 would be a good choice, but anything more would need a .30 at the very minimum.

Great planes T-Craft.

I have one that had a Magnum 30 in it. It flew the plane very nicely. It's not a lot of power, but I would describe the performance as being a little more spunky than scale. It was my second plane, and it's still one of my favourites.

Ok after looking at all the suggestions it looks like the Taylorcraft and an OS .30 4 stroke. Might try to model it as an L-2, which might call for Solartex fabric. This adds weight over monocote; so I am interested in any comments concerning power, weight, etc
