How can I make or what should I use to get good 90º angles to connect the pushrods to the servo arm.

jucava,

I am assuming you mean 90 degree bends for "Z" bends? I use "Z" bend pliers from Tower.

I just use a pair of needle nose pliers.

If you're making a z-bend, use the z-bend plier or you could use the wire bending die from Higley. The die comes in various sizes for different size rods but you could buy a set which is cheaper.

Is there some reason you are committed to Z-bends? I never use them but prefer clevises or ball-links. The DuBro ball links are low friction, non-binding and have absolutely no play. Just screw the ball into the servo arm and snap on the nylon coupler socket.

Z bends are quick and easy. Only one moving part so less likely to break (and if it does, it will probably do it when making the z bend, not while flying your £1000 plane).

You got a plane that weighs a thousand pounds? :D

LOL!! :D

You can also use standard pliers to make a "Z" bend. It takes two bends and a twist though. ;)
