TopFlite P-47 Kit
 

Im curious to know whats going on with this kit now. I have been thinking about buying this kit for awhile and back in early January I finally did from Tower Hobbies. I orderd the replica radial and cockpit kit to go with it at the same time. Well I got my order in the mail several days later but I only got the replica radial and cockpit kit. Tower says the p-47 kit is backordered. I kept watching on their site for it to say "instock", but so far it never has. It went from Late January to mid February to Late March and now they have pushed it back to Late April. I am just wondering now has this kit been discontinued like so many others? Or, maybe on a brighter note, are they having problems producing the kits fast enough to meet the demand? Does anyone else have info about what might be going on?

Greathobbies is still showing stock on the 60 size topflite p-47 and p-51, kits.

Greathobbies is showing the 60 size topflite corsair and spitfire as on back order.

well I just got an email back from one of the topflite representatives. They told me Late April should be the date they come back in stock. apperantly they just had/ have some sort of delay for making several of their kits. well see though.

Well it is now 6/2/10 and I finally got my p-47 kit in the mail from Tower hobbies. :D:):D
