Default Kyosho Comcept 30 + modern radio equipment

I just got a Koyosho Concept 30 used
it has all it needs to fly except that the
gyro and the receiver are very old and I wouldn't trust them.

So, I'm willing to swap it off to modern gyro and receiver
the gyro Futaba GY 401

receiver Futaba 617FS 7 channel rx with transmitter 6EX 6 channel tx

Now the original rx has 7 wires connected and my transmitter only supports 6
how would that work?

and which plug goes where?
I was only flying electric heli for a year and i've no idea how to work this thing.

Is there an online manual for this heli cause I'd like to have one.

Hi. The Concept is an old bird now and parts are getting increasingly hard to come by..... But it's still a great heli to fly. I learned to fly on a DX and still have an SR-T in my fleet!

Here's a page with all the manuals: http://rchelibase.com/concept/ You will need to know which model you have, although most of the Concepts have a similar layout.

Regards Ian.

wow to bad this thread died i could use some advice on how the GY401 gyro will work on it. I just had one given to me and now i just need to program it. and set the pitch using a Airtronics Rd8000 radio and a 8 channel RX looks like i need to start reading my TX manual. But i figure i will answere this thread. Mine will start with a hand starter it has a nose cone on the back odf the heli. i'm hoping it fires up and runs but i havent tried it yet.
AS you can see i still have alot to figure out. wish i had some photos of wiring arrangment on this heli basically a good setup photo would be really nice something for refrence but i havent found one yet.[&o]
