Default blade balancing

How are all of you using to balance the main rotors? I have used the method outlined in the manual and the dynamic balancing method. Recently I bought the new Du-Bro balancer that it is like the Hi-point. Even with a straight shaft, I can't seem to get the blades balanced. It would appear that you have to get the blades perfectly straight to get accurate balancing on the balancer. For now, the dynamic balancing is working, but it is kind of hit or miss.

Here is a simple blade balancer invented by Tom Cardiff that will eliminate a lot of guessing before dynamic balancing. Mine is made from sheet aluminium.

Default blade balancing

That little tool looks like it would make dynamic balancing a little easier. But it is there any way to balance the entire rotor head with the blades and subrotor?

Balance the subrotor with grips on the high point by leveling the paddles. If a grip is heavy, let it fall. It will be cancelled out with tape on a blade. Note the heavy grip (if at all) and then put the lighter blade (from my balancer) on that grip. The rest is dynamic.
