Default breaking in Vmax 7

im at the stage of breaking in a new motor and cant get it to idle out or run for more than 4 minutes. ive tried between 1 and 4 copper gaskets. back flushing motor,. cleaning motor etc. all the way from 1 to 3 turns of the needle and still the same. ive run it rich and lean per norvel, but cant get it to run right. 3 diffrent glow plugs still the same. another issue is after i remove the glow starter it dies .. ive never had these issuses with my other 7 or my 6's

please help

If it dies after you remove the glo starter, that sounds like you have a cold plug. If not that, you arent getting the plug hot enough but more than likely its a cold plug. A cold plug is one that wont maintain the bright orange glo after the glo starter is removed from a running engine and it dies soon after. Ive experienced this before and even with a new plug. As far as the norvel engines on the Litemachines helicopters (mainly Vmax7) Im beginning to grow a little sour. The vmax7 has promising power but Im hearing more and more problems with them. Bummer!!!
