what is the difference between glow powered and electric?

glow powered means that it is powered by a nitro motor with a glo plug and electric has an electric motor and ESC.

I prefer the electric, no mess and envyronmentaly friendly.

I'm 15 and i got my Carona 2 months ago. I have a friend with the 110 and i laugh @ him constantly because he cannot shart it for more than 2 seconds. I just spool up and away i go! Anyhow, there is a thread on this and debates it quite well if you can find it. read them all, the are verry useful as a lot of people stray from the initial topic. Anything more i can do?

i would say the best beginner heli is the LMH Corona 120 which is electric heli... it has made learning to hover/fly the most enjoyable experience... i had a elec heli in 1994.. i had a Kalt Whisper.. back then.. atleast around here where i live.. nobody liked electric helis.. so i never even had the guts to fly it (didnt have a gyro either) so i traded it.. now full circle late last year i got the bug again.. and i started doing research.. i ended up with a Corona.. and i have never looked back.. charge and go.. repeat :)

i wouldnt recommend a glow vers to a beginner.. unless you have someone there that can help you set it up and show you the ropes.. otherwise it could be a mess.. :)
