Default Aftershock NO 4wd PLZ Help

Hey guys I recently got hooked up with an Aftershock. It had been sitting for awhile before I got it. I went through the electronics and engine and Finally fired it today. It ran great BUT it didnt have 4WD. Only the front wheels spun. Any ideas on what is causing this?

On another note If I spin 1 wheel in the rear the other barely spins at all

Thanks
Shawn

I'd guess the little grub screw that holds the outdrive to either the transmission or diff is loose. I'd check all of the set screws on the transmission and both diffs - if they're loose clean them off and put blue locktite on them and torque 'em down good. Let the locktite set overnight and you should be good to go.

Should the grub screws not be the culprit, I'd then look to the Diffs. If the front wheels were spinning then the transmission sounds fine internally.

I broke all 4 diff outdrive cups before upgrading to the hd ones, it's possible that you have one broken. You probably won't see it though, mine all looked like they were still together.

Okay guys The outdrive from the transmission does NOT have a set screw in it. So I am assuming this is my problem. Does anyone know what size of screw that is or a losi part number.

Thanks for the replies and help I appreciate it.

Part Number is LOSA6250.  It is a 5mm set screw.
