Default Tires and Rims

I am wondering what tires and rim combos you guys are using, my tires and rims are starting to bite the dust and I was just going to look for a new pair. I have both 17mm hexs and 20mm and I ususally run on sandy dirt and clay most of the time... what do you guys think???

Sand and clay are opposite ends of the traction spectrum if you want optimum tires. You can usually run a sticky, low profile tread in clay whereas in sand you want an aggressive tread. Stock LST2 tires or XXL tires are good for clay. I would recommend 40 series Proline trenchers on some split 6 wheels for the sandy stuff.

I'm sure they would be good to go. I have the Axial oversized wheels with Trencher tires (40 series) i'm thinking of slapping on my Losi XXL....

Stock losi 420 series wheels/tires are same size as proline 40 series. Bashing duties I would use 40 series, Racing duties I would use a truggy wheel/tire. You will need 17mm hexes for truggy wheels.
