Slipper Clutch Pads?
I just got a used LST2 and I love it, it just has one small problem. Sometimes the tranny engages and sometimes it doesn't (it's getting worst now). I'm thinking it's the slipper pads. I can turn the spur gear by hand and the tranny doesn't engage. I have also tighten the nut at the end and doesn't make a difference. I'm not familiar with this truck and any help would be great.

maybe some few things need to adjust.
1st. it need to speed up a little bit, turn your high end 1/16 turn, check your engine temp if less than 260 F first. Or
2nd . you may adjust (loosen 1/8 turn) the 2 cam adjusting screw of your second gear clutch so it will change gear early.
