These shocks?

what truck a want em for? im assuming a lst2 or something..... i would build up my own..... this is what i would do

I am thinking im going to build my own. Is shock oil expencive? And how do you put the oil in it? Do you just fill it up?

No, shock oil is not expensive, about 3 bucks a bottle. You'll need 3 bottles to fill your shocks, with a little left over. Yeah, you just remove the caps and fill them up.

what's with all the gold? are plastic shock caps poor quality? also do the gray shock body differ the blue shock body in any way?

dude, check ebay... i bought all four of those shocks brand new for 45 bucks. the price on that link would cost you like 130 bucks!

I have yet to hear of a functional piggyback shock in the rc world. full size piggyback shocks generally have a piston in the resevoir and use either a spring or nitrogen on the side/end farthest from the oil. It is the action of the piston transfering oil in and out of the shock body that cools and reduces foaming. Without this action the resevoir or piggyback is pretty much useless and extra weight. They are good looking units for shelf queens and show trucks though. Google it if you disagree.

I Sold that Truck before running the Engine, They Guy that Bought it Wasn't Impressed with the Axial 28RR and Put a Mach 427 back in it........(I haven't heard of too Many Peeps that Like the Axial in LST's)
