Default Duratraxman1`s Aftershock

I am finally going to really spend some bucks and real time on my aftershock. As of now i have: Losi rechargeable Receiver pack, losi ht polished pipe, aluminum clutch, VG Racing roll cage, lst2 linkages, Yellow springs, moab 40 series with 23 mm yellow wheels, spurrs wheelie bar, losi wing kit.

And i have on order: lst update kit, lst2 tranny, and i plan to order a lst2 tank, spin start and maybe a few others...
Im probably not doing anything with the engine for a while (i might be getting a four wheeler so all my money will go twards that)

what do you think? What else is important (not an engine)

It sounds like every single one of your upgrades is adding weight to the truck. I'm guessing you'll see a considerable drop in performance from the already weak engine in the aftershock. Also, if you're getting a rollcage, get the new era one as it does not bend at all and feels way sturdier. Why are you getting a wheelie bar anyways? I don't think the stock AF motor can even wheelie and with all these new upgrades its going to be near impossible. Moabs,,,personal preference I guess but I feel they are heavier than stockers which is shocking to me. I'd personally keep the AF transmission as it has forward only and thats like 3/4 lb of redudced rotating mass. Really helps out your truck....but if you like reverse that much...go ahead and get it,

Yeah I have to agree. Your truck is going to be pushing 15 lbs after all that and you will see a drastic drop in performance with the stock engine. No need to get a wheelie bar with the stocker in it.

dont worry, i have no trouble pulling the front end up. The only thing that add considerable weight on it now is the vg racing roll cage. And i can wheelie fine, with a good tune.

you only need a roll cage if you suck at driving...or if your jumping 50 feet in the air... I dont need one..the highest i've jumped with my aftershock is 3 feet...heh...
