LST2 VS aftershock
I know people have discussed the difference between these trucks but I need further help. I recently got the Rc action edition about monster trucks. They claimed that the aftershock is not that much different than the LST2. What are the main difference, how much wouold upgrades cost. And is the LST2 really that much better???? I really like the dish wheels and a wing so thats what I would add to make it look like a LSt2 but performance wise what are we talkin please help !! thanks

RE: LST2 VS aftershock
Just a few of the improvements.
Captured CVD pins
Much stronger CVD's
Much more powerful engine with proper tuned pipe
no more 14mm hex junk
a much better 2 speed assembly
much stronger a-arms and indestructible rear blocks, fixed rear toe
220cc fuel tank
much nicer radio
reverse and hi/lo range transmission
improved linkages and servo savers
I know my LHS is running a Horizon Special where you buy a LST2 and you get a mini LST2 for free!!!

RE: LST2 VS aftershock
I've had an aftershock for about 2 weeks and the differences are what 2D says, BUT the biggest difference is the PRICE...are you willing to pay around $700 for the LST2 or around $300 for the aftershock. if you have the cash go for the LST2 i think its worth it, but for me i wanted a new truck and didnt want to wait longer for the money to come in so i got the aftershock. and i like to upgrade, and eventually my aftershock will resemble an LST2. ALSO from what i have seen and heard, the LST2 is more geared towards the racing crowd, and the aftershock is more for the bashing crowd (eg: aftershock has bigger MT tires and LST2 has smaller track tires.) so ya good luck with choseing one.
