I run the Losi 454 with the XXL transmission gear set and I love it. IT ROCKS.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so your saying just change the gears in the trans on the lst2? or replace the whole thing with the xxl tranny case and etc. Also is it a direct bolt on?

I just bought the output gear set and installed them in the LST2 transmission. http://cgi.ebay.com/Losi-16T-29T-Tra...item5ad475bbbc And yes.. The XXL transmission will bolt right in.

Yea it could be...I like working on the thing..Getting the screws out of the two pinion gears was a little tough...Allen head stripped and had to use a Dremel tool to get one out. It was good experience though.

I run the LRP 28 and XXL tranny, and yeah it's great..
