Default Broke my Aftershock :(

Yep today i was bashing with it and my clutch bearings on the motor went and cost me both plastic gears on the transmission. So now i have to buy clutch/bearings/gears before i can bash again. So now it is going to sit on the bench t'll i get enough money to fix it

why do you have to buy a new clutch bell, if yours is fine dont bother buying a new one because thay are expencive. The bearings and spur gears shouldnt cost you alot...

Clutch bearing, on a 2 speed truck like the LST should be change very often.

I order a bunch of bearing at AVID RC, 1.00$ each, and i change them each 1/2 gallon.

Or, you can put a third bearing on your clutch bell, and the bearing will last long time.

But for $1.00 each, i change them often

Yeah the clutch bell housing is fine just the internal clutch of it is shot and the bearings.(plastic parts) I will defently look into the bearings you listed there. Good to know i should keep a close eye on them in the future. I was thinking about going all metal gears and metal clutch shoes but will that do damage to the transmission/bell housing? So yeah lesson learned the hard way i guess.

You don't have to go with steel spur.
If you maintain your CB bearing in good shape, your plastic spurs will last long time.

get the losi long wear aluminum clutch shoes, and every 1/4 gallon or so brake clean the clutch shoes and clutch bell and they will last a long time.

I have seen the 3 bearing set up where. Do you remember how it is done? Don't you need the ofna shimes set or something like that.

Alrighty bought all the parts i need to get her back up and running. Only $40 with shipping. Not bad considering i sold some stuff and a guy owed me some money paid some of it off so i could get my parts.
Parts i bought were new gears(w/hardware)/metal clutch and these bearings: http://www.avidrc.com/product/?c=1&p=1 (bought six of them to make sure i have enough for awhile). So hopefully this weekend coming up the parts will be here and i can get her up and running again.
