17mm Hexes

I need some 17mm hexes and I don't know if the ones made by Losi are the only hexes I can use. Does anyone use something different?

What truck do you have?

Mugen, and some shims.. That's what 2DMAXX said back in the day, so that's what I got.. I think most 17mm buggy or truggy hexes should work though.. You just need some shims - I forget the exact dimensions - 10x12x.2 or something..

Wouldn't the axle shaft dia. affect which hex wheel adapters will fit? As in something for a buggy might fit an LST1/AFT but not an LST2 without drilling the adapter out.

I just went ahead and ordered the hexes made by Losi. But thanks for the info.

Good point. IDK.. But years back everybody said Mugen, so that's what I got.. And they've been in for a couple years with zero issues.. Dunno' what the pins are - or even if them being thinner makes a big difference..
