Fail safe ??

Ok, what and how do failsafes work? If I turn off the tx the throttle returns to idle anyway.
I must be missing the point ;)

Also are the stock setting for the carb rich enough for run in with 25% nitro?

RE: Fail safe ??

When a vehicle goes out of range, or when the tx signal is interrupted, then the throttle stays where it last was, which is usually WOT. The failsafe will return the servos to a pre-programmed spot, to prevent the inevetable crash.

RE: Fail safe ??

A failsafe returns the servo to a designated position when the Rx voltage becomes too low or when the radio signal is lost. The return spring will help for low voltage, but if the signal is lost the servo can glitch or stick Wide open. The failsafe will prevent a runaway in both conditions, so it's a good idea to use both.

Oh, and yes - 25% is just fine to use.
