Looks like I have to buy a new LST
I have been searching high and low, but have not been able to find the TiNi gear set. Looks like I will have to wait till the end of the month to replace my chewed up gears, but I cant wait that long to get back to the track. So, it looks like I'll have to break down and buy another truck. :eek:Anyone know where he TiNi gears are in stock in the states?

RE: Looks like I have to buy a new LST
Mostly I want to get out and practice for the upcoming racing season. I have been planning on getting a second LST as a backup truck, but I was going to wait a few more months to see if anymore parts get upgraded (like the dif cases etc). And, I guess I am really frustrated at not being able to find the full set of TiNi gears. Seems like I only just got the thing tuned right, and now I am waiting to run again. As far as getting the stock gears... I probably will, but its darned irritating to spend $30 now, and then another $80 in a month for the same parts.[>:]
Oh well, Ces't la vie! |

Just buy the gear that you toasted. Don't buy a whole new set. The larger gears are only 4 dollars

An the pinions are only 5. Together that's $18, not $30. Plus, if you do get a new truck, then you'll have to break it in and tune it also.
A whole new LST seems kind of wasteful, unless you were planning on getting another a while ago. |
