[The problem I see with MAAC forum communications is anonymity. How can I trust someone who identifies themself merely as 'britbrat'. Are they even a MAAC member?
There are very good reasons for anonymity -- I've had personal hate mail from several enlightened RCC ( & presumably MAAC) members because of my opinions. That doesn't do much to change my opinions about certain MAAC processes, but it sure helps in forming an opinion of the particular individuals. It also leads me to be somewhat gun-shy about names.

I don't think that you would trust me regardless of name, or otherwise -- our opinions are a long way appart and I'm one of the so-called West Rats -- & thereby beyond the Pale. Trust me or not, I'm a MAAC member & I fly model airplanes like you do. I also have a strong interest in continuing to do so & I want MAAC to help ensure that I can continue to do so.

I'm getting tired of this -- I give up -- everything is just hunky dory in LaLa Land.

Hi Clarence! Long time no see buddy, still fighting the good fight I hope.... My students and I are still reaping the benefits of your visit although, I'm not teaching nearly as much these days.[sm=disappointed.gif]
Jim,
Yep, still punching away. Still can't figure out why I have to fight to do what everyone else claims to want to do. Oh well.

I am making some headway with a couple of big RC aeromodeling industry members. Next month reps plan on coming for a demo of my promotion method. They say they have been following my post on RCU and finally their bosses told them to personally check it out. They don't fly and want to learn both airplanes and helicopters.

Take care,
Clarence

Don't pre-judge me, I haven't sent you any hate mail, and so far our discussions have been quite civil. Yes, we may have different opinions but the same can be said of my wife ... and we manage to get along.

As for LA-LA land ... hmmnnn.... if you're referring to some, as yet unvoiced problem, stemming from unpublished minutes of some closed door meeting between some "old boy club members" that has had some adverse impact that no one here seems able to define?

Sounds like some convention for conspiracy clubs....
