Hi,
This weekend is the annual KWFD (Kitchener Waterloo Flying Dutchmen) Scale Rally. This is one of the largest RC scale rally's around with continuous flying, many pilot prizes, raffles and noon hour flying show.
I have a rally poster with a map for those wishing to attend. Please PM me with you email address if you wish a flyer.
This is a fun flying event, but your plane must be scale, semi-scale, or standoff scale to fly.
There will be vendors on site, a Saturday evening pig roast, and a night flying demonstration (bring your chairs and blankets).
Hope to see you there.

Hi,
The set up for the scale rally is going well and campers are already starting to arrive. Spnsors have been very generous and we will have many more prizes than expected.
If you would like a map to the flying field, it is on the back of the poster on our web site - http://www.kwflyingdutchmen.com/rallyad2007.pdf
Hope to see you there.

Sorry Don, Some how I missed updating here. Here is the latest:
The plans for the KWFD (Kitchener/Waterloo Flying Dutchmen) 2008 Scale Rally are well under way.
The setting up of the field starts mid week and we expect the campers and trailers to start arriving around the same time as usual. The flying field will be open to visitors for those who want to fly during the week - float flying is close by for those who wish to do so.
Scale model and stand-off scale models will be flying all day Saturday and Sunday Sept. 6&7 from 9am-5pm.
As usual, there will be a spectacular night time flying demonstration Saturday evening and noon hour flying demonstrations and candy drops for the kids during both days.
Vendors will be on site and modelers are also encouraged to bring their items to sell or trade with others.
There is a corn roast on Friday evening, a pig roast on Saturday evening and independent food vendors there during the day.
For directions and/or pictures from previous year's rallies see:

Who is coming this year? Look forward to seeing you there!
