Had lots of Fun with Ed and his one of his Sons at "Edwards" this morning and at around 5:00pm this afternoon, I had even more FUN with the Space Shuttle RC EDF Model verifying the Drag Chute modifications and was completely satisfied with the results!

Just take a look at the Videos and pictures at:

Hello there guys!

I have posted my peace at Post #5 at:
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_10077962/tm.htm

with regard to NOT re-newing at our beloved East Orlando RC Association and all the details are at the above post.

I am still considering some "other" RC Clubs in the area which have a paved Asphalt Runway and will let you know what I decided in case you all would like to join me to visit as my guest. I am going to take my time and searching and will let you all know how my investigatory progress goes.

In the meantime, I will join anyone that is willing to show up early at our other Beloved flying area affectionately known as "EDWARDS"

See you all soon!

Carlos

Guys,

Moon Port Models will be having a Fun Fly this coming weekend. I do not know which day?

I have lost the e-mail and I have looked up the so called "Official" web site and no new newsletter is seen up at this site:
http://moonportmodelers.org/NewsLetters.aspx

Maybe one of you an tell me which day?

If it is a Saturday, I might not be able to make it as I have a new Garage Door opener to be installed.

Great news! Gerry (simano) informed me today that the Fun-Fly and Swap meet will be held on Sunday, October 24th at Moon Port Modelers RC Club in Titusville, Florida! FREE FOOD, DRINKS (Soft Drinks!), and Good Trading / Sales along with good company!

Hope to see you all on Sunday morning!

hey there!

Nope, all RC Flyers with AMA can join to fly. If you don't have AMA then, you can still fly on a Buddy Box with someone that does, if I recall the rules correctly.

All Visitors are Welcomed and you can bring your FOR SALE items over!

Usual food is "sweet" Baked Beans, Hambergers, Hot Dogs, with Buns, all kinds of potato chips and salads and cockies. Not to mention Bottled Water, and all kinds of Soft Drinks.

Come all and lets have fun on SUNDAY @ MOON PORT MODELERS RC CLUB.

You did NOT READ post #15 I see.............[:-]

Come anytime you like, if you like to sell and setup then, I would recommend to come early.

No, you don't have to be a member to fly or sell.

Nope, you don't have to register.

Just come and eat, fly, and sell....

The Moon Port Modelers RC Club's first Fun Fly and Swap Meet during Fall Season was great and turn-out was very good.

I brought many models, mostly in NEW-IN-THE-BOX and I was able to sell three used models and one new model in the box for a cool $140.00 US minus $13.00 worth of Gasoline for my Van Pool vehicle so, it was a good day.

I had wished more people arrived with CASH on hand as it is getting real close to XMAS holidays and this is the perfect time to Wheel and Deal.

Oh, well, I asked the President when is the next one and he said in December so, it maybe too late.

I had a good time there at the fun and fly. With Gerrys help I was able to fly my l4 grasshopper super cubbie. I also sold 3 airplanes. I also gave away 2 wings. I had to leave earlier than anticipated, because Gloria called and was sick unfortunately. A good time was had by all and I met a lot of super nice hobbyists as well.

We had super Swap Meet / Fun Fly this past Sunday at Moon Port Modelers RC Club in Titusville, Florida and someone bought from me a nice Carl Goldberg Gentle Lady with full size servos and great looking covering (Purple and Gold) for a cool $30 US.

I still have another Gentle Lady that I may sell and one uncovered wing that spans 55 inches.

Other items that did not sell at the Swap Meet and thinking of placing on eBay are as follows:

1. Kyosho F1 Kelly Racer (Electric ARF version), 55 inch wing span, fiberglass FUSE.

3. World Models (Airborne-Models distributor) Clipped wing J3 ARF 40 inch (Yellow):

4. CMP 3D Giles-202 ARF 49 inch wing span:

5. Hobby-Lobby Elegance ARF (49 inch wing span):

6. Used World Models SkyRaider Low Wing Trainer (55 inch wing span):
