MLD 35 verus DLE30
#2
A little more powerful, considerably heavier and larger physically, no after market exhaust options, and very strange and inadequate mounting hardware, I wouldn't use most of it. The engine does run well and the ignition, for as long as it lasts (not the best reputation in that department), will accept any commonly available input voltage.

So they stillhavn't got their ing problems solved. I'm a little nervous about the dle 30 hearing about dead sticks an all.
I've had a q 40 g62 an a bryson 4.2.
None have ever dead sticked on me.
The bryson 4.2 I bought in 1994 an never could get the ing noise problem solved even after repeated attempts by bryson.
I ended up doing a swap with a g62 on a lainer stinger no problems. She got ran over in 2003 I havn't had a gas since.
I don't want to be buying 2 or 3 engines for a plane.
A couple of the planes I'm looking at need nose weight.
