i just thought i would let the rc up public know about this... the first week in sept I bought a dla 56 from mike at ibcinyou rc that was used but was just suppost to have had 2 gallons of fuel thought it...Ibought it from him and the dla warrenty states that it is only good to orginal buyer but i asked him if he would go a head and warrenty the engines since it was just barley broken in... well when I got the engine got it on the plane... first of all it was one of the loudest racket making motor that me and the fellow pilots around have ever heard... Kind of sounded like it might have a bearing going bad...So I called him and sent it back to him and he supposedly fixed it said it was a prop hub that was loose so he put another on it... so i got the engine back still we messed with the engine from 2 to 3 weeks to try to get the carb set right to get it to run properly and it never did no matter what we done to the carb it still wouldnt run allways acted really really rich anyways all the local pilots kept telling me something wasnt right.... so I emailed him told him what was going on and that we couldnt get it to run properly and that I either wanted a refund or wanted to pay the difference for a new motor in the box... I was told that when he repaired the engine the first time that nothing was wrong with the engine and that there was nothing to warrenty that i could send it in and he would look at it and then charge me fore what ever parts and labor was becuase I quote what he said in the email I CAN NOT WARRENTY CLUELESS ... so i was not going to send a motor in for a second time that I had already paid to ship back once just to send in and him charge me for repairs and labor that was supost to be under warrenty so I decided to EMAIL DLA so i told them what was going on and they got me in touch with another one of there dealers here in the us and they took care of everything....I JUST WANTED TO LET THE RC COMMINITY KNOW THAT if mike tells you he will stand behind something used dont believe him he will not stand to his word I thought this was very bad customer service. I beileve when then engine was sold to me the guy he was selling it for knew something was wrong with the engine... and they where just tryin to pon it off on someone else... in the end DLA HAS excellent customer service they contacted Bobby with Delta rc engines out of leland mississippi.. and the next day bobby called me asked what was going on and i was told to send him the engine so i overnighted it to him and when he got it he sent me a new one out the next day... if you want great customer service and are looking for a dla, rcgf or a crcc pro engine DELTA RC ENGINES IS THE PLACE TO BUY. THEY HAVE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEY WANT TO HAVE HAPPY CUSTOMERS AND STAND BEHIND THERE PRODUCT.. I will buy from delta rc engines again
