Default Modifying the TankModellbau Anti Tracks Recoil System

Here's a rather simple modification that can solve many of the problems related to firing the main gun ....
On the somewhat limited (in channel numbers) Heng Long transmitter ; we have the upper left control and the " K " button to do the firing functions ...They don't always complete each other and most of the time they interfere with one and other ....
Using a simple modification of the Modellbau A.T.R.S. ; It's possible to have the " K " button to do all the firing ; thus freeing the left control for something else ...
The modification involves rewiring the terminals of the D.P.D.T. relay of the Modellbau unit and adding another D.P.D.T. relay to cancel the tracks recoil ....
Here's a bunch of pictures and schematics to show how ....

Nice work, this is what I wanted to do with my Abrams with modelbau unit but I've settled for just the transmitter mod for all the functions on the left stick. This is great though to leave the left stick free for other options.

i would think you still need the stick for elevation

You still uses the left stick ( pushing downward ) for the gun elevation ...But now since the upper left stick is free ; with a little mod. you could have the left stick pushing down to lower the gun and pushing up to rise the gun ...
Personally , I'm working on an home made sound module and I want to use the left upper stick as a throttle to rev the engine while on park ....
This mod. allows me to do that ....
